Claiming to be England's biggest indoor folk and celtic music festival with over 300 performers from all over the world, Gosport & Fareham Easter Festival takes place from Thursday 21st until Sunday 24th April 2011.

The festival includes concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, dance displays, singarounds, sessions, craft fayre, a Festival Club, Late-Night Extra and more.

Concerts take place both during the afternoon and evening: from 1pm until 5pm or from 7.30pm in the evening.

Line-up

A number of acts are confirmed, including The Saw Doctors, Oysterband, Show Of Hands, Dervish, Belshazzar's Feast, Roy Bailey, Martha Tilston, Richard Wood, Heidi Talbot With John McCusker and Ian Carr, John Otway & Wild Willy Barrett, Kris Drever & Eamonn Coyne, Seven Little Sisters, Ron Trueman-Border, Megson, Liz Carroll & John Doyle, Swill Odgers, Alistair Russell, and more. There's a Crafts & Musical Instruments Fayre all-day Friday, Saturday & Sunday at the Ferneham Hall (free admission) plus music, song and dance workshops every day at 11am and 5.30pm at the Lysses House Hotel (also free).

Tickets

Tickets are on sale. Early bird weekend 'season tickets' are priced at £80 until Sunday 31st January when they rise to £90. Tickets for individual concerts are also available from the relevant venue. To buy tickets, click here.

The main venues have a good selection of food and drink available all weekend, including real ale.

Camping

There's free parking for caravans at the Ashcroft Arts Centre, free car parking at most venues all weekend and campsites (for tents) nearby.
