Having returned from Glastonbury safe and sound (though not of mind) with a few of my original possession, elation has quickly evaporated to dismay as the dawning realisation is - that I managed to "miss" the whole festival (exception "Ladysmith" and " Asian Dub Foundation").

For this reason I would like to share with you from personal experience a "Guide of What not to do at Glastonbury"

DO NOT:

  • Take Kevin with you
  • leave sunroof open in car field for several days
  • take mobile phone that is uncharged
  • take three bags of useless clothes
  • leave warm jacket at home
  • go anywhere without an aircraft carrier of loo paper
  • tell your nephews you are going if they're going
  • go to the communal showeres unless you are feeling communal
  • get heat stroke, dehydration and starvation just before main attractions commence
  • lose friends at night, ever at all
  • stay locked away in tent when feeling paranoid - cause no-one knows you're there mate!
  • go crazy mad on Wednesday party 48 hours and collapse on Friday
  • have friends whose camper vans blow up
  • have friends who drop other friends expensive uninsured camaras into the stenching toilet pits
  • leave before festival has ended
