Normal Surrealism !

As always the weekend passed too quickly and after an all too brief fill of music, film and stem ginger ice cream the weekend was put into wonderful perspective on the Monday as I travelled to work. Sat on the train I picked up paper after paper and began reading the various reviews. The articles talked about '99 being the festival that saved Glastonbury when I didn't even know it was in danger ! If my having fun contributed to ensuring I can go on having fun then I am glad to help. Best of all was the warm glow of reading about the various acts, events and general atmosphere that encompasses Worthy Farm for that weekend. I most enjoyed the general comment about how surreal the weekend is to outside observers and yet how normal it feels when you're there.

Bring on the Big 2000 event !
