Every Glastonbury is a unique experience for so many reasons, and this year was no exception. Myself, my wife, my children, all love Glastonbury Festival. My eldest children came with us when they were very young, and still come now they are teenagers ( 17 & 19 ).

The richness, and variety of performance will always remain magical for all of us in our family.

On Sunday, my family stood silent, in remembrance of Jean Eavis. We cried. Not something I do easily. I don't think either of us new exactly why. Jean & Michael Eavis created something very special for our family at Worthy farm, and during that silence, I think we realised that we could offer no more than our thanks. I only hope that it was enough.
