Summer Sessions in Princes Street Gardens will return to Scotland’s capital city for a series of massive shows in one of the country’s most iconic gig locations as Florence + the Machine, Primal Scream, CHVRCHES, Lewis Capaldi, James, Courteeners and Madness and more all take to the stage.

After a hugely successful inaugural edition in 2018, the concert series returns to the Ross Bandstand in Edinburgh this summer with another star-studded line-up of homegrown heroes, trail-blazing female talent and exciting breakthrough artists.

Taking the stage on 11th August, synth-pop maestros CHVRCHES, make their comeback to the capital almost 5 years since their last performance in Edinburgh - this is a unique chance to catch the band play at an iconic venue in Scotland.

Bringing incendiary new songs and some of their classics of the past three decades to Summer Sessions, James, one of Britain’s most celebrated bands will play on 15th August. Making their festival debut, pop band Madness will close the party on 18th August. Celebrating their 40th Anniversary, the band are expected to bring big, bold sounds and sax solos as they play all their classic hits.
