FM4 Frequency Festival is a three day festival held from Thursday 20th until Saturday 22nd August 2009 at a new location St. Pölten, in Austria.

The acts confirmed for 2009 include:
The Race Stage: AFI, C.J. Ramone, Editors, Bloc Party, Farin Urlaub Racing Team, Glasvegas, Kettcar, Kasabian, Mando Diao, MIA, Peter Fox, Port O'Brien, Radiohead, The Prodigy, The Sounds, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Subways, and The Ting Tings.
The Green Stage: Anti-Flag, Culcha Candela, Dùnè, Enter Shikari, Eagles Of Death Metal, Grace Jones, Heather Nova, Mono & Nikitaman, Pendulum, Polarkreis 18, Rise Against, Ska-P, Selig, Thomas D, and Volbeat.
Weekender UK Stage: Not yet announced.
Electro Tent: 2manydjs, Body Movin, Crystal Castles, and more.
Urban Art Forms Floor: DJ Aphrodite, Body & Soul, Carl Cox, Dennes Deen, High Contrast, MC Daxta, Philipp Straub, and Snitchbros.
Open Air Stage: Not yet announced.

This year the arena offers seven stages, with the arena split into two sectors: Daypark where the concerts will take place and Nightpark for after hour parties. The Weekender UK Stage also makes a return this year.

Travel
There are regular flights from UK destinations to Vienna. From Vienna you can go easily to the Venue in St.Polten by bus or train. The nearest railway station to the venue is St.Polten. There is a free of charge shuttle service from St.Polten Station to the festival venue. The shuttles leave every few minutes on showdays (Thursday to Saturday, August 20th to 22nd) as well as the day before and the day after the festival (Wednesday, August 19th and Sunday, August 23th) If coming by car from Vienna, take the A1 motorway into the direction of Salzburg, Linz, Sankt Polten. If coming from Munich/Salzburg take A1 motorway into the direction of Vienna. Take the exit St.Poletn , Kelsengasse 9, 3100.
