The family friendly participative Festival 8 returns for a 4th year and will run over three days from Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd July 2018 at Cabourne Parva, in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The early bird offer has ended. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £75. An under 18 (aged 7 - 17 years) weekend ticket is priced at £45, a full weekend ticket for children aged 6 and under free, A live in vehicle pass is £15-20, depending if it has an awning.

There will be a healing area, talks (conspiracy theories, alternative tech, health and nutrition, herbalism, foraging, bushcraft) Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation. Plus a well equipped circus area with a tightrope and high wire. There are proper onsite toilets as well as shower facillities.

There is an option for boutique camping as well as a variety of other on site services such as a heated barn with bar and stage, a bistro, burger van, art gallery, hairdresser, beauty parlour and barber. 

The festival will be full of things to do and join in with and organisers encourage everyone to come with costumes for the Saturday night parade and show. There will also be a fire show on Friday night, a lazer suite show on Saturday and a Ceilidh performance on Friday.

Other entertainments included poetry, theatre, singing, dance, drama close up magic and story telling. The festival is being organised by a group of volunteers and is being run as a not for profit event.

Normally the site is a working family farm.

Volunteers

Organisers are still taking a few more volunteers who are expected to work at least 3 x 3 hour shift and get a meal voucher after each shift plus free entry to the festival for all weekend.

Disabled facilities

The site is essentially pretty flat and easy to navigate ( unless there is torrential rain ). The toilet facilities are reasonably roomy and the ones on the main festival site have been enlarged this year. However, no stairs or large steps.
