The Rougemont Sessions are part of the city's Summer In The City programme of events and is supported by Exeter City Council.

Exeter Phoenix and partner promoters bring you three days of concerts in the picturesque, leafy setting of Rougemont Gardens in the heart of Exeter city centre. The events cover an eclectic range of music and entertainment and we have plans to build the Sessions in size and stature in the years to come. Bar and refreshments available on all nights plus after parties at the Phoenix on Friday and Saturday.

Rougemont Sessions Opening Night
Taking place on Friday 10th June from 6 – 11pm. Hold It Down and Deep End team up for the Sessions' first night with dubstep, hiphop, reggae and jungle, featuring both live acts and DJs.

Line-up

Starkey, Jimmy Screech, Reggae Radiators, plus DJ's Mr.Onions and Digga.

The after party will keep things rolling till 2am at the Phoenix with two areas of music featuring Deep End & Hold It Down residents such as Mystery, Ollie 303, Matt Anderson and Heavy Stylus playing dubstep, garage, hip hop and nu jazz.

Tickets are on sale priced at £7 or £10 on the door, an after party only ticket is priced at £5, with a concert and after party ticket priced at £10 or £12.50 door. To buy tickets, click here.

Acoustica in the Park
This year, the Acoustica festival has an offshoot event - Acoustica in the Park - set in Rougemont Gardens in the heart of Exeter city centre. It forms the middle night of a three day weekend of concerts billed as The Rougemont Sessions, part of the city's Summer In The City programme of events and supported by Exeter City Council. The event takes place on Saturday 11th June from 6pm until 11pm, with afterparty at Exeter Phoenix 11pm until late.

Line-up

Count To Fire, Gabrielle Aplin, The Jesse Dansons, Maz Totterdell, and Alice Jemima. The afterparty features DJs including Alphabet Soundtrack and Birds Orphans & Fools DJs.

Silver Tree Summer's Day & Summer's Night
Summer's Day takes place on Sunday 1 from 12pm - 4pm and offers a family friendly Sunday in an enchanted garden. Parents and children (3 - 12 years) are invited to explore a magical woodland and take part in some fun summer workshops; arts and crafts, music-making, circus and Just4Funk street dance. Join the treasure-hunt, face-painting and story circle with Clive PiG. (*All children must be accompanied by an adult.) In the evening will be the Silver Tree Summer's Night running from 6.30 – 10.30pm offering a host of musical treats and delights in a secret garden on a warm summer's evening.

Line-up

Summer's Day: There's no acts confirmed yet for the live music stage. The event also will offer a bar and food stalls.
Summer's Night: Compere Clive PiG (2011 Bard of Exeter) introduces Signs of Life, Billy Bottle and the Multiple, Glorious Chorus, Moussa Kouyate, Just4Funk, Elfic, and more. Dress up for a woodland party. Enjoy a drink under the trees and listen to an original programme of worldly sounds, stories and songs. With special woodland sculptures and décor, food stalls and refreshments from The Silver Tree Bar.

Summer's Day: A big family pass is priced at £12 (2 adults + 1-3 children), a small family pass is priced at £8 (1 adult with 1-2 children), with free entry for tots (aged 0-3 yrs).
Summer's Night: Tickets are priced at £10 (£8 concessions).

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
