Eastleigh 'Big Top' Music Festival 2003

A six day event featuring live music and entertainment for all ages with free lunchtime world music concerts, free family entertainment every afternoon and ticketed evening concerts.

Artists playing at the Big Top this year include:
On Tuesday, 29th July, Bob Geldof supported by Los Pacaminos;
On Wednesday The Drifters and Real Abba Gold;
On Thursday The Levellers along with Berroguetto;
On Friday The SAS Band (with Paul Young; Leo Sayer; Graham Gouldman(10cc)) Fish(Marillion), Chris Thompson(Manfred Mann's Earthband)and Midge Ure(Ultravox)) plus more;
On Saturday night, The Saw Doctors plus support
and on Sunday, Rolf Harris and his band.

Gates open 7pm each night; concerts start at 7:30pm.

On Thursday, 31st July too, Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra are playing in the locality in a special concert at Manor Farm Country Park, Bursledon (just off the M27 by junction 8).

There are also two acoustic concerts taking place at The Point Arts Centre: Dennis Locorriere on Monday, 28th July and Show of Hands on Wednesday, 30th July. Both gigs also start at 7.30pm.

There's also a craft fayre, food fayre and licensed bar all week plus a two-week 'Fringe' Festival with many more events throughout the Borough of Eastleigh.
