To ensure compliance with any COVID-19 restrictions, Deer Shed is replacing its 2021 edition with a limited socially distanced festival known as Base Camp Plus. This will take place from Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August 2021.

Line-up

The musical acts will be: Jane Weaver, Dream Wife, Porridge Radio, W. H. Lung, Big Joanie, Katy J Pearson, The Lounge Society, Deep Tan, Bull, The Baghdaddies, New York Brass Band, Serious Sam Barrett, Niki Stevens.

There will also be comedy from: John Shuttleworth, Mark Watson, Angelos Epithemiou, Flo & Joan, Huge Davies, Harriet Dyer, Shelf, and more.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
adult (16+) weekend: £60
child aged 16-17 weekend: £40
child aged 6-15 weekend: £20
under 6s weekend: free but needs ticket
campervan / caravan / trailer-tent: £60
All the kids activities and workshops free of charge.
All weekend tickets include camping.

Workshops

There will be an extensive range of workshops with something for every person of every age and every interest.

Kids

This is very much a family friendly festival, with kids events an integral part of the day's programme with many of the artists performing and running workshops that the whole family can enjoy.

Travel

The Deer Shed Festival in set in Baldersby Park near Topcliffe in North Yorkshire. We extremely handy to get to by car situated just 2 miles from the Dishforth junction of the A1(M) - 30 minutes from York and Teeside, 45 minutes from Leeds.

The nearest train station to the festival site is Thirsk, seven miles away. Thirsk is on the main East coast line which runs from Kings Cross in London to York and onwards to Edinburgh. There will be a limited shuttle bus from Thirsk station to the festival site throughout the day and night for a small fee, all profits going to charity.

Grand Central Trains offer a direct service from London to Thirsk in around 2 hours.
