The Croissant Neuf Summer Party is brought to you by the team responsible for one of the oldest features of Glastonbury festival - The Croissant Neuf Solar Powered Venue.

The event is set in, and around an ancient Iron Age hill fort near Usk in Monmouthshire and will be held from Friday 14th August until Sunday 16th August.

The line-up includes The Beat as headliners, along with special guests still to be announced. plus Steve Knightley (from Show of Hands), Ella Edmondson, The Baghdaddies, The Travelling Band, Joe Driscoll, Ash Grunwald, Park Bench Poet, Chew Lips, The Anomalies, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, The Communicators, Chris Moreton, Chris Jagger's Atcha!, Andy Peat, Bowjangles, The KingSize Five, The Mandibles, Biggles Wartime Band, Boat Band, HotFeat, Mankala, EXP (Hendrix Tribute), Yes Sir Boss, The Riff Raff, Derwyddon Dr Gonzo, The Hit-Ups, Rum Jig, The Weavils, Lea Gordon, Brooke Sharkey, and Whoopsie Daisy Disco.

As well as great music expect internationally renowned street theatre, workshops of all kinds from dancing to bushcraft, open mic sessions, sports activities, and more.

As with last years event, all of the facilities on site - the venues, eateries, bar, toilets and general lighting (basically everything) are completely solar powered.

Firm favourites from such as the Masquerade Ball and the stunning Lantern Procession will be making a return along with all kinds of new and exciting features that offer something for all the family!

All food and drink will be as organic as can be and sourced from local suppliers where possible. The fully licensed bar will be serving locally brewed organic beer and cider and pub nibbles. It also functions as a venue for impromptu live music. The second venue from last year, Café Seren, which hosted live music while serving fresh food is also expected to return. The dinning area tent will expand this year to include a cabaret stage and larger soft furnished area.

The offer of luxury onsite accommodation in the form of incredibly posh, yet reasonably priced yurts is expected to be available again in 2009. And, camping is free!!!

Tickets are priced at £80 for a weekend adult ticket, with children aged 5 to 15 tickets priced at £25, campervans up-to 5 metres £15, campervans greater than 5 metres £20, and car-parking costing £5. There are also the following ticket deals in place: 2 adults and 2 children £195, 2 adults and 3 children £205, 2 adults and 4 children £215, and students £65. Day tickets available nearer the time.
