The annual Copmanthorpe Carnival offers a day of live music and entertainment for all the family at Copmanthorpe Recreation Centre, in York on Saturday 29th June 2019.

This year's theme is 'Save The Planet'.

There's also a programme of dance troupes, children's activities, and the Viking Village.

Tickets are not yet on sale. Last year they were priced at £6 in advance.

On site attractions include stalls selling local crafts, fairground rides, traditional children’s games and a huge range of refreshments. There will be a treasure hunt for all children dressed as superheroes.

Copmanthorpe Carnival boasts everything from live music through to children’s’ activities and fairground stalls. A triple whammy of a day with a Music Festival rolled into Country Market rolled into a Fairground.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
