The event will be staged on open fields on the north edge of Dartmoor with panoramic views of the surrounding area. There will be a main stage, a performance marquee and other entertainment, including a Pirate Ship for kids, Stilt Walkers and Face Painters etc around the site.

The idea behind the festival is to give some local bands the opportunity to play at such an event as well as booking well known acts. It will be a mixture of styles from Rock to Drum & Bass to Folk and Blues plus whatever else they can find. They'll be a main stage, plus acts performing in a marquee between main stage acts.

Confirmed acts include: The Saw Doctors, Martha Tilston & The Woods, Obedient Bone, Billy Don't Be A Hero, John Fuller Band, No Crisis?, Thousand Natural Shocks, Evolution and Sal Paradise on the main stage and Bettina (flamenco guitarist), Guy Buttery, Pholklaw, The Blackfoots, Ella Edmondson, Life Of Reilly, Terry & Pete. For the up-to-date details (as available) click here.

Numbers will be limited to around 3,000 to provide a fun but chilled atmosphere in a cosy, relaxed venue for all age groups. (All profits will be donated to the Devon Air Ambulance and other charities *to be confirmed).

Camping will be allowed from the Friday night with the event itself kicking off at 12 noon on the Saturday through to about 1am Sunday morning. The site will need to be vacated by Sunday afternoon.

Camping will be separate from parking and the usual festival rules will apply (no pets, campfires, fireworks etc). Facilities available such as toilets, water, first aid etc.

There will be a licensed beer tent and catering of various sorts on site. You will therefore be unable to bring your own alcohol or food into the main arena area.

Tickets are now on sale, priced at £35 - click here to buy.

More information will be here when available.
