Bromyard Folk Festival is a traditional music, song and dance festival held from Friday 11th until Sunday 13th September 2008 at various venues in the town of Bromyard, Herefordshire, in the Welsh Border area.

Most of the main concerts, ceilidhs and workshops are held in marquees at the Broadbridge site. We also use The Leisure Centre, The Falcon Hotel, The Hop Pole Hotel and Bromyard Town Football Club.

The live musical and dance performers for 2009 include Seth Lakeman, Battlefield Band, The Demon Barber Roadshow, Breabach, Faustus, Roy Bailey, Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies, Jackie Oates, Kris Drever / John McCusker with Heidi Talbot and Boo Hewerdine, Crucible, Peel Your Own Spuds, Skyhook, Maz O'Connor, High Noon, and many more. For the line-up details as available please click here.

The festival will also play host to morris sides, workshops, dance displays, children's entertainment including Jan's Van, craft fair, dance instructionals, real ale bars, food, pub sessions etc.

Ticket prices for both weekend and day tickets have not yet been finalised, and will be on sale in the new year.

Tents, campervans and caravans spaces are provided for camping pass holders only, and there will be an additional charge - there are no camping facilities for visitors who are not weekend ticket holders. The camp sites are within the festival site and adjacent to the Marquee venues and close to the town, so a car once parked may be left on the site for the weekend.

More information will be here when available.
