Bromyard Folk Festival is a traditional music, song and dance festival held from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th September 2008 at various venues in the town of Bromyard, Herefordshire, in the Welsh Border area.

Most of the main concerts, ceilidhs and workshops are held in marquees at the Broadbridge site. We also use The Leisure Centre, The Falcon Hotel, The Hop Pole Hotel and Bromyard Town Football Club.

The live musical and dance performances include: Show of Hands with Miranda Sykes, Cherish the Ladies, Spiers & Boden, Tarras, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, The Omega 3, Faustus, Bob Fox, Mike & Ali Vass, Kerfuffle, Park Bench Social Club, Sarah McQuaid, Wheeler Street, Jack McNeill & Charlie Heys, Whapweasel, The QP, Steamchicken, Brian Peters, Malthouse Passage, Ceridwen Davies, Maz O’Connor, Dr Sunshine, Tunewrights, Martyn Harvey, Johnny Collins, John Waltham, Jim Mageean, Mary Humphreys & Anahata, Jan's Blackboard Van and many many more.

The festival will also play host to morris sides, workshops, dance displays, children's entertainment, craft fair, dance instructionals, real ale bars, food, pub sessions etc.

Weekend Ticket prices
Weekend Tickets are priced at £65 or £74 from 01/08/08, NUS Weekend Tickets are £34 or £38 from 01/08/08. Family Weekend Tickets for 2 adults and as many children as you like are priced at £164 or £182 From 01/08/08. Child Weekend Tickets are FREE for 10 years and under but must be included on the form, and must be purchased with an Adult Weekend Ticket. Junior Weekend Tickets for those in school between 11-18 years old are priced at £25 or £29 from 01/08/08.

£8 Camping per person over 18. Tents, campervans and caravans spaces are provided for camping pass holders only - there are no camping facilities for visitors who are not weekend ticket holders. The camp sites are within the festival site and adjacent to the Marquee venues and close to the town, so a car once parked may be left on the site for the weekend.
