Bristol's biggest FREE event, the 48th Bristol Harbour Festival takes place on Bristol's harbourside with the main festival weekend taking place from Friday 19th until Sunday 21st July 2019.

The Bristol Harbour Festival attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to explore the two mile stretch of the harbour featuring seven areas including dance, music, children's activities, a busy on-water programme and phenomenal circus performances.

Line-up

Music takes place at the amphitheatre, the Queen Square stage, Cascade Steps, the Thekla stage, Louisiana, Grain Barge, Bristol Plays Music Bandstand and SS Great Britain. There's usually a Friday night ticketed concert at the amphitheatre.

Family friendly

College Green offers an array of children friendly activities including storytelling, creative activities, face painting and interactive performances.

The festival is a rich and diverse platform for the city's wealth of creativity, from dance performers to circus acts and a variety of musical stages including walking bands, interactive theatre and so much more. The festival stretches two miles from the Grain Barge to the Hidden Gardens of Wapping Wharf, from Brunel's SS Great Britain to Cascade Steps and from Queen Square to College Green. There will also be an range of festival markets and food stalls offering visitors a choice of culinary delights.
