Breakout Festival is Brighton's only outdoor heavy rock festival taking place on Saturday 26th September 2015 at the Brighton Racecourse.

Line-up

Latest addition is We Deny.

Also confirmed are Deaf Havana, SikTh, We Are The Ocean, The Qemists, Heck, Seething Akira, The Gospel Youth, Skint Circus, Blitz Kids, Martyr Defiled, Black Tongue, TRC, Dead Harts, Zoax, and By Definition. The event will see over 30 bands performing over 3 stages.

Local talent competition

Breakout Festival are teaming up with BBC Introducing: The South to bring local rock and metal acts more opportunities to get on this year's line-up. Interested acts can join BBC Introducing: The South at http://www.bbc.co.uk/introducing where they can upload tracks for inclusion. Until 31st August, BBC Introducing and the Breakout Festival team will be listening to local applicants and making their choice on festival opener.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
