Bradford Acoustic Roots Festival takes place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January 2014, at Wiltshire Music Centre, Bradford on Avon, in Wiltshire from 10am.
The event offers two days of live music on four stages: folk, jazz, blues, world, indie, rock classical music, choirs, children's performances and classical music, plus an open mic stage and folk session.
The first acts confirmed are Neil Taylor, Jennifer Crook, Sam Brookes, The Harmonettes, Tom Vigar, The Fiery Dragon Folk Opera, Shooting Roots, A Fistful of Spookies, The Magnificent AK47, Andrew Bazeley, Bath Community Big Band, Box Standard, Bradford on Song, Budada, Calico Jack, Chris Weston, Clara Celcilia Band, Cleverly Brothers, Courage Choir, Courageous, Dead Royalties, Giant Sequoia, Gracie Curry, Greasy Slicks, Jess Vincent, John Alderslade, Johnny Coppin, John Ruddock, Kate Lomas and Megan Gibson, Krokodile, LightGarden, Martin Williams Jazz Trio, Matt Thorpe, Maximum Stay, Max Stanton & Lucy Symonds, Mike Scott, Mr Wilkin's Shilling, No Fixed Abode, Orient Express, Pete and Rosie, Reg Meuross and BEth Porter, Robin Peters, Sam Brookes Duo, Sam Evans Band, Scout Killers, and Shadowplay, with many more to be announced.
Tickets are on sale priced at £16 for adults, a teen (aged 11-18 years) tickets is priced at £11, Under 11s free.
There are also choirs, kid's shows, open mic stage, folk jam session, children's activities, workshops, folk-dancing and wassailing, local product showcases, specially brewed festival real ales, mulled wine and hot food from the Fat Fowl Restaurant.
This event takes place in support of Wiltshire Young Carers and Wiltshire Music Centre.
Note this event has no camping.
