THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
There have been a number of obstacles that team Bloom have had to deal with this year - having to move site at very short notice some weeks ago and difficult economic conditions have affected them in a big way, and have meant that they have been on the back foot for most of the year. Under the circumstances they feel that the best decision at this juncture is to draw a line under 2009 and concentrate on staging the event in 2010.

====================
The dates for Bloom 2009 are confirmed as Friday 14th to Sunday 16th August. The festival is moving site again and this year, and is being held at Chepstow Racecourse, Chepstow, in Monmouthshire, Wales.

Bloom describes itself as "a boutique festival of cultured electronic beats and bass". Expect around four arenas with a blend of up-and-coming and established groups, artists, DJs and labels. Sounds will include music from a plethora of genres including electro, house, hip hop, jazz, funk and drum'n'bass. There's also comedy and cabaret.

Expect a whole array of fancy dress, impromptu performance, ferris wheel, fire shows, installations, live art, circus acts, designated kid zones, a range of holistic therapies in the Bloom Vegetable patch, markets and a selection of quality, organic eateries.

Tickets are on sale priced at £75 for an adult weekend ticket, children (5 to 15 years) tickets are priced at £25, tickets for children aged under five are free, however their details must be registered with the organisers via email.
