Bloodstock is to hold its first Open Air festival on the 24th/25th June 2005, subject to licence. The aim is to offer a traditional Rock Music Festival comparable to those regularly seen in Europe (but on a smaller scale initially of 6,000-10,000 capacity), and capturing the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's.

They'll be twelve bands on 1 stage during the weekend; four bands on Friday evening, and eight on the Saturday. The first bands are now confirmed - click here for details.

Tickets are on sale from the Bloodstock website, priced at £40 for both days without camping, and £45 with camping.

As well as the bands, there'll be food stalls, merchandise stands, stalls selling CDs, clothing, and jewellery, a camping shop, and a bar!

More information will be here when available.
