Bestival is a large festival offering 300 plus acts form various parts of the music firmament and attracts an up for it crowd of festival goers, dedicated music fans, and 'beautiful people'.
There's a huge choice of food and drink options, and the festival has different areas catering to different music styles, hidden venues, and a few surprises. It's the last chance to have a party over festival season and offers the chance to party long into the night.
The campsites are lively in the early evening, and more quiet the further from the arena you pitch. They are also a fair walk from the car parks (down an acute hill) or from the bus drop off point.
The festival is the last total escape of the season, and offers festival goers everything they could possibly need on what is quite a hilly site, there's also a wooded area with water that's lit at night and offers an opportunity to chill from the madding crowds.
The best thing about Bestival is the fancy dress, more people dress up than don't and you feel out of place if you haven't got into the party spirit, and the dressing up theme, which changes each year.
It's worth pointing out that some mobile phones just don't seem to work on parts of the festival site.
