Bigtopmania Kidzone Team keep the kids entertained with a host of artists and activities designed to keep the kids happy, although it's worth mentioning the festival is more aimed at letting adults be kids and party for the weekend.

Housed in a baby Big Top for the shows, plus a Crafts Marquee, a toddlers area for under 5s, Jan's Van, a dressing up tent, a bouncy castle, face painting, and an outdoor play area.

The festival also has a fun fair, a toboggan slide, and some local colouring and doing stuff tents, but primarily this festival is aimed at adults with Camp Bestival designed more for kids.

There is a dedicated camping area for families that is reasonably comfortable, however because of the nature of the festival, don't expect a quiet time as it is still quite close to the main arena - the campsites further out are quieter, but the walk may be too much for young children.

Some of the crowds can get boisterous, and it does have areas of congestion at night. If you do take young kids The Magic Meadow and The Village are the best areas to spend your time - perhaps seek out an elephant or lion in the woods.
