Berlin Festival 2012 happens on multi stages at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, Germany on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2012, over various venues throughout the city, giving festival goers the full Berlin experience with free entry to over 30 clubs all over the city that never sleeps.

Line-up

Latest additions are Ghostpoet, Will Saul, Christine And The Queens, Lay Low, Turboweekend, HighasaKite, Le Galaxie, Muso, Tomfoolery, KMPFSPRT, FOOL, DJ Supermarkt, KRSN, The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Simian Mobile Disco, Mostly Robot, When Saints Go Machine, Kid Simius, Nicolas Jaar, Miike Snow, Crocodiles, Brandt Brauer Frick, Light Asylum and When Saints Go Machine, Grimes, Of Monsters & Men, and Django Django.

Friday: Daughter, Friends, Frittenbude, Grimes, Kate Nash, Little Dragon, Major Lazer, Michael Kiwanuka, Orbital, Sigur Rós, The Killers, Tocotronic, We Have Band.
Clubxberg: Crookers, Digitalism (live), Dumme Jungs, Etnik, Metronomy.

Saturday: Bonaparte, Cro, First Aid Kit, Franz Ferdinand, Friendly Fires, I Heart Sharks, Jamie N Commons, Junip, Kraftklub, Morning Parade, Paul Kalkbrenner, SBTRKT, Sizarr, WhoMadeWho.
Clubxberg: Junior Boys, Modeselektor, Slagsmålsklubben, The Magician, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

All together, around 70 artists will rock three stages as well as the legendary 'Mobile Disko' with 10,000+ headphones, the Silent Arena after show party will give ticket holders the chance to continue partying after the final main stage closes from midnight till 4am at Tempelhof Airport.

Also returning is the Art Village with over 60 national and international artists. Urban art, murals, performances, sculptures and more will all be on show plus an art bazaar, bars, booths, and the Design & Record Label Market as well as the art prize and a costume competition will complete the Art Village.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at 74 euros for a 2-day ticket for both the festival and silent disco. there's also a combiticket priced at 89 euros which adds entry to Club Xberg @ Arena Berlin as well as shuttle service to Club Xberg. To buy tickets, click here.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping, however this year for the first time accommodation will be offered at the festival site. There will be more info on this soon. There are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the city.
