Behind The Castle Music Festival is a new music event held in the grounds of Sherborne Castle on Saturday 14th June 2014 and set among 40 acres of 'Capability Brown' landscaped gardens around a 50 acre lake.

Line-up

Newton Faulkner is to join fellow main stage headliners The Levellers, Paul Brady and Seth Lakeman .

Announced for the second stage are Cara Dillon, Steve Knightley, Sheelanagig, Megan Henwood and Boat to Row while the Marnhull Acoustic sessions stage boasts the local talent of Rodney Branigan, Tinderbox, Lizzyspit, Ninebarrow and Cloudi Lewis.

Tickets for the event are priced at £46 with children's tickets (aged 5 to 17 years) priced at £25, and under 5's free.

Behind The Castle Music Festival will have music across three stages. Foodstalls and bars will be available all day.

This event is the idea of young festival organiser Ian Lyster. "This is a great venue and a huge chance for people to come a get a great festival experience all stuffed into one magical day."
