This event has been cancelled. A message posted on the official website says:

To our Beacon Community

The time has come where a decision has had to be made to safeguard our event and its future, the funds we generate for our charities and worthy causes, our Volunteers, our Beacon Festival Community and the Community of Watlington, where we stage our event.

In short, and with no surprise, we have decided that we have a responsibility to reschedule our event and let our Beacon Festival Family focus on loved ones over the coming weeks.

As a yearly event, we will reschedule for our normal June weekend in 2021, 18th and 19th. And all current tickets will be valid for our Charitable event next year.

**Please bear with us over questions - we will be in further contact, with ticket holders, Musicians, Traders, Volunteers, sponsors and Charities shortly.

Beacon Festival 2021.

==========

Beacon Festival is a family festival to celebrate the summer. Laze away the longest days of summer with music, workshops, stalls, and food & drink. Set on the Beacon site on top of The Chiltern Hills, at Christmas Common, Oxfordshire the festival happens on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June 2020.

Beacon Festival is staged at Watlington Hill Farm, the site of the infamous Music On The Hill (MOTH) festival, Lindsay Howard-Dean who took over the farm from her parents a few years ago had the idea to re-ignite the flame, and with some gentle persuasion and a bit of arm twisting, put together a team of volunteers.
