The 68th Bath International Music Festival takes place from Friday 20th until Sunday 29th May 2016, bringing together classical, jazz, world, folk and electronica throughout various venues in Bath.

Line-up

Line-up includes The Philharmonia Orchestra, Branford Marsalis, Piaf! The Show, Kansas Smitty's House Band, Richard Goode, Family Music Day, Navarra String Quartet, Jay Rayner, Teddy Thompson with Kelly Jones, Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, Tenebrae, Bath Camerata, Bath Philharmonia & Lera Lynn.

Venues

Performances take place across the city in a variety of venues including the Assembly Rooms, The Forum, the Pavilion, the Guildhall and Bath Abbey. The festival ends with an outdoor show in the heart of the city.

Party in the City

The main event is the Party in the City on the first Friday of Bath International Music Festival with a programme of free events in venues including the Assembly Rooms, Bath Abbey, Guildhall, Pump Room and Parade Gardens. The evening gets underway with the regular Schools Procession.
