The eighth Bath Folk Festival will be taking place between Saturday 12th and Sunday 20th August 2017 at various venues across Bath, in Somerset, including Beechen Cliff School.

Line-up

The announced acts include Folk n Funny 5, Red Dirt, The Horsenecks, Jiggidy, Georgia Lewis with Kitty McFarlane, The Drystones, Mac Seka, Pons Aelius, An Dha, Tell Tale Tusk, Diskan, Jez Hellard, Saskia Maxwell and more.

Most events are free, several events are ticketed and priced between £5-8.

Camping

Festival campsite available (expect £30 for the whole festival or £20 for a weekend).

Summer school

One of the highlights of the festival is a week-long traditional music summer school. This offers tuition in a range of instruments for 3 hours each day plus access to recitals, sessions and workshops run by top class tutors. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome as classes are tailor-made to the needs of each group.
