Now in it's 7th year Barefoot Festival 2012 is a family friendly event that will take place at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough, in North Leicestershire from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th July 2012.

Line-up

Black Drummer, Lysergic Suite, MissDavinaLee, The Daisy Chains, Woodstock 1970s Hippy Folk Band, The Logic Design, George Packe-Drury-Lowe, Branstown Band, Mary Ann Ratcliff, Grace & The Magic Roots, Fay Brotherhood and Lee Burns, Neil Donoghue, The Dash, Molly's Lipps, Drag Your Heels, George Fisher, Glenn Hodge Band, Resin, Liam Modlin, One Eyed Wayne, Ju Ju Beats, Blame Hubert, Dave Blackwell, Phil Letley, Raptusound, Red N Pink, Mr Disfit, Legend In Japan, Sanya Budna, Samuel Rogers, Mark Feraby, and Sam Parsons.

Tickets

An adult full Weekend ticket is priced at £69, a child (aged 5 - 17 yrs) weekend ticket is priced at £25. Day passes are priced at £35 for an adult Saturday pass, and £15 for a child Saturday pass. A Sunday adult pass is priced at £20, and £10 for children. A parking pass from Friday to Sunday is priced at £10, a a parking day pass is priced at £5. Workshops

There will be Belly Dance, Flamenco, African Dance, Yoga, French Can Can, Lindy Hop & Jive, Tai Chi, Trapeze and Aerial, Capoeira, Martial Arts, Meditation, Reiki, Drumming Circles, circus skills, Burlesque, arts and craft, communal art projects, and much more.

The festival will have live shows and entertainment running the whole weekend musicians, singers and comedians, Can Can Dancers, exotic Belly Dancers, street style magic performance and the Barefoot Busk Stops.

Children

For the kids, entertainment this year is organised by Angel Gardens who will create a specially dedicated Children's Zone with crafts, workshops, entertainment, face painting and more.

Ethos

The aim of the week end is for Barefoot attendees to go back to back to their roots for the weekend, it's hoped that festival goers will reconnect with themselves, sit around the camp fire with the sounds of live drumming in their ears, take a moment out from the stresses and strains of their busy lives and yes – dance barefoot in the sunshine.
