Alcester Folk Festival 2011

The Summer Alcester Folk Festival will take place from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th June 2011. It is a well known Singers' festival and features workshops, singarounds and sessions, and real ale, plus performances from a wide variety artists.

Acts confirmed this year are Richard Grainger & Chris Parkinson, Hilary Spencer, The Laners, Les Sullivan, Pete Grassby, Martin Curtis, GU4, Barrie and Ingrid Temple, Andy Casserley, Na Mara, Bill Bates, Malc Gurnham & Gill Gilsennan, John Morris and Morning After, Graham Collins, Kitty Vernon & Derek Burgess, WholeHearted, Sharp as Razors, En- Chante, Tony Portlock, Sheila Mosley, Andy Wall, Tony Barrett, Hilary Ward, Alhambra, Mandy Connor, Hector Gilchrist, Jon Harvison, John Prentice, Mike Nicholson. Fairfield, East West Infusion, Tom Patterson & Dave Morton, Sean Humphries, Peter & Barbara Snape, Gilly Kemp, Lorraine Wooldridge, The Harvesters, Mr Fox might make an appearance Grand Union Folk club will be hosting a folk club event and there will be Craft stalls, White Hart Morris, Wild Thyme Border Morris, Step on Board with more acts still to be announced.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are priced at £55 for a full weekend before Monday 1st June when the price will rise to £60. Concession (over 60yrs, unwaged, students) full weekend tickets are priced at £40. There is camping which will available for a fee of £8 per unit, and campers can stay until Monday at no extra charge.
