This family-friendly festival raises awareness of green issues and aims to be an ethical alternative to the more mainstream music events. There is a wide selection of music at the festival including something for every taste - featuring rock, metal and indie to folk, pop, DJs, and the downright strange.

2000trees Festival returns for a third year on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th July at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

British Sea Power, The King Blues, and Fightstar will headline this year's festival, with Dananananaykroyd, Rolo Tomassi, Wild Beasts, Amplifier, The Chapman Family, Imperial Leisure, SixNationState, Baddies, Sucioperro, Diagonal, The Epstein, The Brute Chorus, Babel, Orphans & Vandals, Sailorette, Sandra and the Memory Machine, Wojtek Godzisz, and more confirmed. This year more than 60 live acts will entertain thousands of music fans for two days of music on three stages.

The organisers promote various ways for festival-goers to become greener, such as a car sharing scheme, recycling stations and promoting a range of green charities and organisations in the hope the festival will inspire people to make small changes to their lifestyles and help reduce Britain's carbon footprint.

Weekend tickets are priced at £47. There is a joint entry tickets for both 2000trees and the sister festival Y-Not in Derbyshire priced at £75. Campervan tickets are priced at £20, children (0 to 10yrs old) have free entry to the site with a ticket. To buy tickets, click here.

The site will be open to Early Entry Pass holders from 4pm on Thursday 16th July, and opening hours for general admission tickets, will be from 9.30am onwards on the Friday, and the festival entertainment starts at midday on the Friday. The site will close at 2pm on Sunday 19th July.
