Is Tropical appeared at The Great Escape this summer, they are currently touring in Europe, and they will be announcing more dates soon. Late last year the band announced their third album 'Black Anything' would be released in 5 parts, one for each continent it was recorded in.
Now following the release of Pt.1 titled 'Crawl/On My Way' and recorded in North America, and Pt.2 "Cruise Control/Say" recorded in Europe, Is Tropical have released Pt.3 "Fall/Lights On", the African chapter via Axis Mundi.
The video for first track 'Fall', playable above, was made by the band. "Working from the title of the track 'Fall' our plan was to create a falling shot of Kirstie whilst she sang. The video was done for zero budget in a studio in North London, where we suspended Kirstie in the style of shibari, Japanese rope bondage.
