Bragg goes to Hope Street

'Hope Street', a Number 12 chart hit for Levellers back in 1995, has been re-interpreted by this weeeknd's Belladrum attendee Billy Bragg. Who re-recorded with the Levellers as his backing band at their Metway Studios in Brighton earlier this year. 'Hope Street' is the second track in a series of collaborations to be released by the Levellers as part of their forthcoming Greatest Hits album, released on September 27th. Alongside Billy, Imelda May, Frank Turner and Bellowhead have all re-recorded new interpretations of classic Levellers songs.
