Green Man announce updated music line-up and announce arts

The Green Man Festival has announced an updated musical line-up and confirmed more of its arts and exhibits programme. The festival will take place between Thursday 19th and Sunday 22nd August 2021, at Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys, Wales.

Tirzah will headline Thursday, with Ghostpoet, Nubiyan Twist, Dream Wife, Lynks, Honeyglaze, Ibibio Sound Machine, and Shovel Dance Collective also added to the musical line-up. They replace Little Dragon, Puma Blue, Viagra Boys, Marisa Anderson and The Maytals Band, who are no longer able to perform due to COVID related complications. Teddy Hunter will also perform, after winning the Green Rising competition to play on the Mountain Stage.

There will be newly commissioned art exhibits by Gweni Llwyd, Freya Dooley, Beth Kettel, and Kristina Pulejkova, and the Babbling Tongues stage has been announced. During the day, it will feature spoken word as the Talking Shop, and welcome Simon Armitage, The Music Interview, Nadine Shah, Helen MacDonald, Chilly Gonzales presents Enya, A Treatise in Unguilty Pleasures, Pete Pahides presents Broken Greek, Madnes Mania Healing, Horatio Clare, Young Voices, Kate Clanchy with Brennig Davies, Mukahang Limbu, Aisha Borja, Linnet Drury, Ash Kenazi presents the Pink Room with Self Esteem, The Green Man Pop Quiz, The Death and Afterlife of the Music Industry, Eamonn Forde in Conversation, Anita Sethi, Pete Brown matches the beers to the bands, Stephanie Phillips and Kate Solomon in Conversation, and an Opening Ceremony with Will Burns.

In the evening, it will become the Last Laugh, featuring comedy from Kiri Pritchard McLean, Jessica Fostekew, Jordan Brookes, Olga Koch, Alasdair Beckket King, Alex Kealy, Ania Magliano, Barbara Nice, Cerys Bradley, Charlie George, Chloe Petts, Danny Clives, Erika Ehler, Esyllt Sears, Frank Foucault, Gavin Osborn, Hannah Platt, Helen Bauer, Jen Ives, Lauren Stone, Leila Navabi, Leo Reich, Mark Oliver, Ola Labib, Priya Hall, Ray Badran, Rich Wilson, Rob Deering, Robin Morgan, Stuart |Goldsmith, Stuart Laws, Sunil Patel, Tadiwa Mahlunge, Tarot, Toussaint Douglass, and Yuriko Kotani.
