More acts have been revealed for Twisterella Festival, which takes place at multiple venues in the Southfield Road & Linthorpe Road area of Middlesboroughon Saturday 9th October 2021 from 1pm - 11pm..

The newly announced acts are Blanketman, Cherym, Frankie Beetlestone, HYYTS, Jake Whiskin, Lizzie Reid, Luke Royalty, MEMES, Phibi, Spyres, Swim School, Talkboy, and Venus Grrrls.

They join previously confirmed acts The Howl & The Hum, Lauran Hibberd (pictured), Jordan Mackampa, Dream Nails, MarthaGunn, I See Rivers, Cheerbleederz, Odina, One Nine, Straight Girl, Fortitude Valley, Mt. Misery, James Leonard Hewitson, Jodie Nicholson, Twist Helix, Campbell Sibthorpe, Bare Roots, Marketplace, and Leopard Rays.

The two festival co-promoters commented on the line-up, Henry Carden stating: "After such a difficult year for everyone involved in the music industry and all of our partner venues, it feels quite cathartic to be announcing bands again!"

and Andy Carr said: "It is thrilling to get this latest announcement out there and we are so excited for this line up. After the uncertainty of the past year there'll be no better way to reconnect in the heart of Middlesbrough. We can't wait to welcome everyone back to Twisterella. Twisterella is such a special event and we're incredibly proud of what it means to the region's music fans."

Twisterella Festival is the creation of Middlesbrough independent music promoters, The Kids Are Solid Gold and Pay for the Piano. The 1000 capacity festival will utilise well-established music venues such as Teesside University Students’ Union, The Keys, The Westgarth Social Club and TSOne, with pop-up sessions planned for Sticky Fingers and The Twisted Lip.
