Tickets go on sale at 7pm this evening for Boomtown Fair - Chapter 1: The Gathering - which takes place at Matterley Estate, nr. Winchester in Hampshire from Wednesday 10th until Sunday 14th August 2022.

Boomtown follows a storyline that evolves each year, and has been reset for the post-pandemic world where the State of Emergency has become a State of Emergence that has risen from the ashes of the old. It is a new world, accompanied by a new story that is waiting to be told that focuses on reflection, acceptance and reconnection. It is a time of celebration, a time to come together, a time of gathering.

For 2022 Boomtown has reimagined the festival layout, with the main entertainment area now within Matterley Bowl, with forest chillouts and woodland parties in the areas around it.

Originally, the resale was scheduled for refunded tickets to Boomtown 2021 after the festival sold out in record time back in February (2021). However, after making the impossible decision to cancel the 2021 event back in April, Boomtown is using the same resale date to offer those who missed out on getting tickets in the past few months. It is one last opportunity to get their hands on what is probably one of the most coveted tickets for the 2022 UK festival season.

After two years enforced hiatus due to the ongoing complexities around COVID-19 and events, 2022 is the year that will finally see the reemergence of this unique pop-up fantasy world and there is a huge number of people signed up for a limited number of tickets. The buzz is that all tickets will get snapped up pretty quickly and once these tickets are gone, there will be no more ticket releases for Boomtown 2022.

Tickets for 2022 will go on sale at 7pm on Tuesday 1st June, priced as follows:-

standard adult Thursday entry: £225
standard adult with Wednesday upgrade: £245
public-transport Wednesday entry: from £215
campervan: £100
car parking: £26
Those aged 12 and under are free but require a ticket.
