A joint collaboration between The City of Wolverhampton Council, Creation Management and Toura Toura Festivals, a new two-day outdoor festival has been announced for 2021, celebrating the legendary Creation Records with the line-up curated by its founder Alan McGee. 

Creation Day will take place at West Park, Wolverhampton on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th May 2021, with acts including Happy Mondays, Editors, Echo & The Bunnymen, Friendly Fires, Cast, Ash, Black Grape, Glasvegas, Echobelly, Sleeper, and many more. Other attractions include a fairground and a wide variety of food and drink stalls.

Announced for the Saturday are headliners Happy Mondays, plus Echo and the Bunnymen, Cast, Shaun Ryder again with Black Grape, Echobelly, Shambolics, The Clockworks, and The Illicits.

Sunday has headliners Editors, along with Friendly FiresAsh, Glasvegas, Sleeper, The Wedding Present, Heavy Lungs, Cat SFX, and Marquis Drive.

Speaking about the inaugural Creation Day festival, Alan McGee says: "I’m looking forward to this one, some of the best old bands with some of the best new bands. I can’t wait to come and bring it all to Wolverhampton. Creation Day is the first time we have done anything like this since doing it for the kids. Hopefully we can do this every year.”

Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Friday 23rd October, priced at:-
