New venues and more line-up additions have been revealed for Wilderness Festival, which takes place at Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire from Thursday 2nd until Sunday 5th August 2019.

Audible Live join the famed Talks & Debates programme with a striking audio-first stage. The line-up includes director, actor and #MeToo advocate Rose McGowan (Sundance Grand Jury-nominee, Charmed, Scream) alongside TV and radio presenter Dermot O'Leary. Million-copy selling author and comedian, Adam Kay (This Is Going To Hurt), Sunday Times best-seller and "voice of Gen Z feminism" (Evening Standard, 2018), Scarlett Curtis (Feminists Don't Wear Pink, To The Woman), Comedian and Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer, author June Sarpong MBE and comedian and What Would Beyoncé Do? creator Luisa Omielan also join as some of the hotly anticipated headliners. A festival first, Audible Live provides a space for contemplation, reflection, humour and heartbreak shared through a wealth of spoken-word stories, discussions and performances.

The House of Sublime is the divine new space championing self-expression, the flamboyant, transformation and gender politics. Innovative arts venue Roundhouse will be taking over, bringing the work of the many young creatives who perform there. Just added, Mariah & Friendz, who deal in a sell-out blend of drag, circus stunts and nu-burlesque. The cherry on top of proceedings is the return of the fabulous Alternative Miss Wilderness. Add the ever-progressive Southbank Centre, comedian, drag queen and LGBTQ+ linchpin Jonny Woo with his Big Gay Songbook, Queer Life Drawing, 'F**k Size' modelling and a Naked Balloon Party and and it's set to be a full frontal celebration for all.

The Level is a brand new venue devoted to artistic excellence, innovation and new directions in music from around the globe. Just announced is Shingai - the solo project from legendary front woman and bassist of platinum-selling band The Noisettes, an exclusive set from crate-digger and label head Samy Ben Redjeb of Analog Africa, the singer/songwriter Madison McFerrin who's soulful take on acappella is widely adored and critically acclaimed genre-benders Benin City.

The Jumpyard comes from Chris Tofu and Continental Drifts, with heavy brass 'n' bass, funk and reggae, an explosive stomping ground headed up by the huge and rinsing Dutty Moonshine Big Band. Jalapeno Records present Smoove & Turrell and Izo FitzRoy, Badcore Horns bring the noise, 6-piece funk-breaks Daytoner return and more. From the creators of The Carousel, this is the ultimate feel-good dancefloor with sunshine reggae, swing, bass and brass wildness.

The High Ground is the new after-dark dance space dedicated to cutting-edge electronic music and the art of the DJ. Tottenham club The Cause at the helm on Friday and Saturday, the crew team up with London's Adonis & Tribes, across two nights featuring Kim Ann Foxman, ABSOLUTE., Hannah Holland, Grace, Shay, Voigtmann, Cromby and Dom Chung amongst others. Sunday night is in the hands of Little Gay Brother; expect treadmills, dance shows, incredible looks, massive DJs and pure unfiltered joy. Wilderness favourite the Bristol badass Eats Everything will play all night long to close the stage. Musically, The High Ground vibe is uplifting; with DJs playing disco and house sets backdropped with flamboyant performers. The harder-edged sets find their home in The Valley beneath the lasers, where Honey Dijon, Erol Alkan and Richy Ahmed headline.
