Celebrating 40 years next year, many of the acts have been revealed for next year's Fairport's Cropredy Convention, which takes place at Cropredy, Oxfordshire from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th August 2019.

With their usual 2 performances, Fairport Convention (pictured above) will open the event with an acoustic performance, as well play a two-hour headline set on the Saturday night. Friday* Thursday night will be headlined by The Waterboys.

Joining them over the weekend will be former Fairport member Richard Thompson, appearing with former bandmates Dave Mattacks, Dave Pegg and Simon Nicol, coustic guitarist Martin Simpson makes his debut, Seth Lakeman returns after 10 years, celebrating 50 years of Jethro Tull's music Martin Barre's band includes includes the original Tull drummer Clive Bunker and long-time bassist, Jonathan Noyce, Canterbury's Caravan make their debut, there's high-octane prog-metal band Zal Cleminson's Sin Dogs, as well as Daphne's Flight, Richard Digance, Will Pound and Eddy Jay, Wildwood Kin, Lil Jim, and Tide Lines.
