The headliners and much more have been revealed for the family-friendly Lakefest, which returns to Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th August 2018.

Headlining the Friday night will be The Darkness, while on Saturday it's The Waterboys. Closing the festival on the Sunday night will be Miss Moneypenny's presents The World's Most Glamorous Show as they celebrate their 25th anniversary.

These are joined on the Abbey Stage over the weekend by others including Melanie C, Peter Hook and the Light, The Farm, Dr Meaker, Roving Crows, The Montecristos, Erica, The Membranes, Blinders, The Blims, and Arcadia Roots. These join the acts previously announced, who are Marc Almond, The ProclaimersReverend and The MakersToploaderPop Will Eat Itself, and Dub Pistols.

The Weston's Cider Floating Globe will host The Wurzels, Baka Beyond, Doctor and the Medics, Gaz Brookfield, Goat Roper Rodeo Band, The Cracked, White Feather Collective, Urban Folk Theory, Whipjacks, DJ Shippers, Trevor Steger, Mustard Band, High Horses, Alex Lipinski, Sain Alto Band, Jack Blackman, Carl Olander, Chief O'Neil Band, The Collective, Greenman Rising, King Cassidy, Alex Taylor, Huw Knight & Viv Belle, Emily Faye, Maitree Express, The No Good Nancy Future Set, and Wednesday's Wolves.

The dance tent this year is re-named as Eivissa, and will include sets over 4 days including a sunset set from Danny Rampling, along with X-Press 2 (Rocky & Diesel), Richard Norris, Nancy Noise, Lisa Unique, Sion Pugh, DJ SOS, Ellaskins, and Mark Winter.

Lakefest director Lee Martin said "We like to think we've curated the stages to ensure that there's something for everyone in the mix, and can't wait to see all the plans come together in the Deer Park. We love what we do, it's all about a positive family experience and pushing ourselves to deliver a greater spectacle each year."

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
adult (18+) with camping Thursday entry: £105 
adult (18+) with camping Friday entry: £95
teen camping (aged 13-17): £60
child camping (aged 6-12): £35
Children aged 5 and under are free and don't require a ticket. 
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Car parking is £10, a live-in-vehicle pitch is available with an electric hook up for £90.

Any disabled punters requiring a carer are advised to ring 0121 472 6688 and the sales staff will add the carer's ticket free of charge.
