Oldtown with a folk-punk based bill is the latest district to be announced for the sold out Boomtown Fair 2018 Chapter 10 which takes place at Matterley Estate, nr. Winchester, in Hampshire from Thursday 9th until Sunday 12th August 2018.

With "alluring and immersive alleyways", Oldtown will be occupied with hundreds of performers, exotic characters and theatrical shows that bring Boomtown’s story alive, courtesy of the pioneering and creative Invisible Circus. With intimate musical and theatrical venues citizens can explore, amongst many, long standing micro venue Grandma’s Living Room, the infamously twisted taxidermy of Rimski’s Yard, plus the everyday cosy vibes from People’s Front Room, and The Nobody’s Inn, which all offer their own distinct take on cabaret and sideshows that take place within this narrative and theatrically filled world.

Its main stage is Oldtown Square, with Turkish psychedelia from Baba Zula, along with Fat Bastard Gang Band, 5-piece instrumental band Larry and His Flask, the foot-stomping Balkan sounds of Transylvania, Giufa, Maika, Dirty Bourbon River Show, raucous swing from The Carny Villains, the Balkan/jungle fusion of Hallouminati, clowncore and gypsytek from Ed Cox & E Coli (live), Tankus the Henge, Duncan Disorderly & The Scallywags, Mad Apple Circus, D.B Cohen & His Band + MC Mark Professor, Land of the Giants, Neck, Cula Bula, Baltic Balkan, Balkan Hotsteppers, Sacha Dieu, Skimmity Hitchers, Immigrant Swing, The Rubber Duck Orchestra, Big Red Ass, Biere De Luxe, The Roustabouts, Sinful Maggie, The Bomo Swing, Black Water County, and The Schmoozenbergs.

This is just one district line up of 14 unique area line-ups, along with three mega stage line-ups still to be released.
