New festival Highest Point, taking place at Williamson Park, Lancaster on Friday 18th to Sunday 20th May 2018., has announced the first acts for the Saturday.

On the Main Stage will be the Northern anthemic indie of Embrace, who will be performing their classic songs mixed with new songs from their forthcoming album. On The Dell Stage there'll be electronica from The Two Bears, while the Chris Glaba Memorial Stage becomes BBC Introducing for the rest of the weekend, with the first acts announced being Rae Morris for the Saturday, and Bondax on Sunday.

These join Friday entertainment from Hospital Records, with High Contrast, Fred V & Grafix, Danny Byrd, and more, plus London Elektricity Big Band. Sunday has Hacienda Classical and more. For all the details so far please see the line-up page.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £40 for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (18+ only). A weekend ticket is priced at £100.
