More acts have been announced for FOCUS Wales, the music festival and conference takes place in various venues in the town centre of Wrexham, in North Wales from Thursday 10th until Saturday 12th May 2018 offering music, comedy and interactive happenings..

Top of the list this time are This Is The Kit who will close the festival, while opening the festival will be Gengahr, and The Coral co-founder Bill Ryder-Jones will be headlining the Friday. Also newly announced are Adwaith, AF THE NAYSAYER, Baby Brave, BAHR and SISTREN, Boy Azooga, Candelas, Chow Mwng, Chupa Cabra, Cull, Dan Eds, Dave Elwyn (Band), Defeatist, Delta Radio Band, Denuo, Early Days, Ennio the Little Brother, Evander, FINAL IV, Gintis, Jack Found, Kidsmoke, Kip, Lolfa Binc, Lovers Open Fire, Meilir, Shot Of Hornets, The Trials Of Cato, Virgin Kola, Vukovar, and Vulgarians.

They join acts already announced, who include Kate Rusby, Jane Weaver, 9Bach, Damo Suzuki, Gallops, John Lawrence, Lizzy Farrall, Castles, Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard, Partner, and more. For all of the details so far please see the line-up page

FOCUS Wales has become Wales’ biggest music industry event, with three days of panels, keynote talks, and industry advice. Latest speakers to be announced include: Martin Elbourne (GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL), Rich Walker (4AD RECORDS), John Robb (LOUDER THAN WAR), Chris Hawkins (BBC 6MUSIC), Desiree Vach (SNOWHITE RECORDS), ELUNED HÂF (WALES ARTS INTERNATIONAL), Michael Lambert (WIDE DAYS FESTIVAL), and Scott Long (NOVA SCOTIA MUSIC WEEK).
