Warrington in Cheshire is to get a new festival - Neighbourhood Weekender - which will take place over the two days of Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May (a Bank Holiday weekend).
The site for the 25,000 capacity event will be Victoria Park, which was the first home of the northern leg of V Festival in 1996.
The first line-up announcement is scheduled for Monday 13th November, with the promise of "an incredible weekend of live music featuring some of the biggest bands and hottest new artists."
Promoters Luke Temple and Jack Dowling of SJM Concerts said: "Neighbourhood weekender is already shaping up to have a great line up. Victoria Park is the perfect space to host our new festival. We can't wait to come back for what is going to be an amazing weekend of live music across three stages along with a hub of local food and drinks on offer."
