The Eden Sessions, held in the surroundings of the Eden Project in Cornwall during June and July, have announced an afternoon of music ahead of Van Morrison's show be on Saturday 1st July.

Eden's arena will be open from 3pm, with Irish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Paul Brady, Newquay-based Ruarri Joseph who now performs as William The Conqueror, London singer-songwriter Nathan Ball, and Camborne-based Kezia, on the main stage throughout the afternoon.

Rita Broe, Eden's marketing director, said: "Eden will have a real festival feel on July 1, with a whole afternoon and evening of fantastic live music culminating in a headline performance from the legend Van Morrison. We're encouraging people to turn up early, have a drink and something to eat and enjoy what we hope will be a lovely sunny afternoon of music."

Other sessions this year are Bastille (June 15 – SOLD OUT), Madness (June 16 – SOLD OUT), Royal Blood (June 22), Blondie (June 23), Bryan Adams (July 6 – SOLD OUT) and Foals (July 11).

There is no camping allowed on site, and animals are not permitted.
