Sector 6 line-up revealed for Boomtown 2017

Boomtown Fair 2017 which happens at Matterley Estate, nr. Winchester, in Hampshire and from Thursday 10th until Sunday 13th August 2017, and has just revealed the line-up for Sector 6, the big hit with last year's attendees, which stands 30 metres tall.

Headliners include Shy FX, who last played at Boomtown to a 20,000 strong crowd in a set that's gone down as one of the best sets in Boomtown history. Toddla T & DRS will be dropping the riddims, and new collective Killbox (Ed Rush & Audio), will be shelling out body slamming bass. There's also Mefjus b2b Emperor, and a Shogun Audio Takeover (Friction, Icicle Live, Spectrasoul, Technimatic, Rockwell, Fourward, Joe Ford) for a whole stage of unadulterated drum and bass.

Kicking off the first ever Thursday opening party for part of the festival, will be Edinburgh's Elektrical Sound System, armed with a 50 KW hand-built sound system specialising in all things Bass with a strong selection of DJs including Jacky Murda, Jamie Bostron, Boom Sound Takeover: Asbo Disco, Fat Stash, Jinx in Dub & Kreed - hosted by Gardna, AAA Badboy, and Electrikal Sound (DJ Set).

Also on Thursday there's a forest take-over with Wonka-Vision head honchos Wonka and Syn along with cohorts Sly OneBromleyDistroArchiveDarkzy, and Lazcru.

Filling out the sector 6 line-up are S.P.Y, The Prototypes, Phace, Optiv & BTK, Chimpo B2B Sir Spyro B2B Spooky feat Killa P, King of the Rollers: Serum, Bladerunner, Voltage, The Heatwave, Ed Solo B2B Deekline, Xtrah, Born on Road Takeover - Kelvin 373, Aries, Gold Dubs & Selecta J-Man, SP:MC, Stamina MC, Lowqui, Linguistics, Carasel, and Inja.

Tier 3 city residency passes: £195 & ecobond deposit.
Child tickets (aged 12 years and under) are free and can be ordered by anyone 25 or over.
Family car (£20), campervan or caravan or trailer tent passes priced at £80 are also available.
There will also be a £7 booking fee and £10 refundable Eco Bond.
