Foo Fighters have just been confirmed as headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival.

Tonight Dave and the band are playing a (not so) secret show at the 700-capacity Cheese & Grain in Frome, Somerset to an audience of specially-selected Foo Fighter fans, as well as a number of Glastonbury festival staff ... and, with the luck of the gods and a lot of grovelling, eFestivals are inside the show too, publishing this at the moment it's happened. I'm a lucky guy. :-)

There's some photos from the show on the efestivals twitter, if you want to take a look.

With big announcements so far for Radiohead and now the Foo Fighters, reports that the final headliner will be announced by the projection of something ginger onto the moon still remain unconfirmed.

(note; the photo at the top of this page isn't from tonight's show).
