The first acts have been announced for the 3rd annual Lindisfarne Festival which takes place on Beal Farm, in Northumberland over-looking Holy Island from Thursday 31st August to Sunday 3rd September 2017.

Headlining the Saturday will be Scottish trio The Fratellis,. Further headliners and many more acts will be announced over the coming weeks.

They'll also be DJs sets from Norman Jay, and FLC & 6music's Huey Morgan, and other acts including Beans on Toast, Bryde, Colonel Mustard and Dijon Five, DansiHip Hop Hooray, Nubiyan Twist, Smoove & Turrell, Talk Like Tigers, The Backyard Rhythm OrchestraThe Lancashire Hotpots, The Showhawk Duo, The Turbans, Too Many T's.

Conleth Maenpaa, Founder of Lindisfarne Festival commented: "We are really excited by our line up and are working hard to secure more great acts with further announcements to be made in due course including our Friday headliner.  As well as a fantastic music line up, this year our festivalgoers can expect more comedy, more workshops, plus more holistic and wellbeing activities in our expanded healing area."

Tickets are currently available at at early purchase advance rate. Weekend tickets are currently priced at £89 for the full weekend, £79 for Friday - Sunday and £55 for Saturday-Sunday. In June ticket prices will rise to £99 for Thursday - Sunday, £89 for Friday-Sunday and £59 for Saturday - Sunday.
