Just announced as Friday headliner, Buzzcocks lead the new names for the family-friendly Wychwood Festival  which returns for its' 13th event to Cheltenham Racecourse, in Gloucestershire from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th June 2017, during the summer half term holiday.

Also new for the main stage are Smoove & Turrell for Saturday, and Jesus Jones for Sunday.

The Smashing Blouse Stage has Friday headliners of Let's Eat Grandma, Saturday is headlined by Zak Abel, with Ider, and Girli also both on Saturday, while Flamingods will be on Sunday. And for the Big Top there's Professor Elemental.

For the Hobgoblin Stage there's Indigo Rose on Friday,  both of Cherokii and Skata Tones on the Saturday, and Curse Of Lono on the Sunday.

Away from the music there's authors galore, with Steve Cole (James Bond new title, Red Nemisis, Penguin Random House), Tamsyn Murray (Tanglewood Series, Troublesome Tiger, Usborne), Jo Cotterill (Electrigirl and the Invisible thieves, OUP), Gareth P Jones (Pet Detectors series, Attack of the Alien Dung,   Little Tiger Press), John Dougherty (Stinkbomb and Ketchup face, OUP), Chris Edge (How to be a Young Writer, OUP, will be doing YA writing workshop), Caryl Hart (Knock, Knock Dinosaur, Hodder), Duncan Beedie (Lumberjack's beard, Templar), and Gemma Hastilow (artist and illustrator).

Headlining on Saturday are Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, and on Sunday Levellers. Other acts include Billy Bragg, Thrill Collins, Katy Ashworth from CBeebies, Kanda Bongo Man, The East Pointers, and Electric Swing Circus.

The Wychwood Music Festival has music plus comedy, 100 workshops and events for all ages, kids literature festival, healing and sculpture gardens, The Headphone Disco until the wee hours, great food and real ales, and much more.

Wychwood offers fantastic fun for kids, and hosts a literary festival with authors and illustrators, kids' favourite characters, a multitude of making things, playing with stuff, learning, education, workshops, dance, and much more, and all free with no need to sign up, just drop in and join in the fun.

A full adult weekend ticket is priced at £140, a disabled (2 for 1 with carer) ticket is priced at £140, Youth/Concessions weekend tickets are priced at £115, a teen (aged 10-15 yr) full weekend ticket is priced at £70, children aged 5-9 years weekend tickets are priced at £27.50 and under 5 year olds go free with an adult. An adult camping ticket is an additional £25, concession camping tickets are priced at £14, camping for children is free, and a campervan ticket is priced at £65.
