The first acts have been announced for next year's pop stars & rock stars themed family friendly Camp Bestival 2017, which returns for it's 10th edition from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th July, to the picturesque setting of Lulworth Castle, set against the backdrop of England's dramatic Jurassic coastline in Dorset.

They're led by Castle Stage Friday night headliner Mark Ronson playing a DJ set, who leads the first musical names for the main stage of All Saints, Holly Johnson, Leftfield, Louisa Johnson, and Bootleg Beatles, with DJs and soundsystems including Skream, David Rodigan presents Ram Jam, Raindance, Big Fish Little Fish, and expect organiser Rob Da Bank to appear.

Camp Bestival's first big kids show for 2017 has been announced as School of Rock - The Musical! A UK festival exclusive appearance from the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s amazing new musical based on the classic 2003 film.

Camp Bestival is aimed at families and there will be loads of entertainment for kids including Justin Fletcher aka Mr Tumble, the return of Historic Royal Palaces’ Tudors on Tour, TV's Dick & Dom, who will be making an exclusive main stage appearance and hosting the Silent Disco, and DJ BBQ will host The Feast Collective. Plus fun stuff including a Giant Kids’ Disco with the World’s Largest Disco Ball,and the inaugural UK Festival Air Guitar Championships.

NOTE: all tickets will incur a booking fee.

All teens (aged 11 to 17) MUST camp in the same area as their families with a maximum of 2 teens per adult (over the age of 30). All children aged 4 and under (on 31/07/2016) can attend for free (but MUST HAVE a ticket). These ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21.
