Skunk Anansie, and Slaves lead the latest acts announced for the 10th anniversary edition of Bearded Theory festival happening at Catton Hall, in Derbyshire on Bank Holiday weekend with music starting from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th May 2017.

Both headline the Pallet on the Friday night of the 10th anniversary celebration in 2017. Skunk Anansie said of their appearance, "Stoked to be headlining Friday night at Bearded Theory. This festival is crazy good and we are looking forward to smashing it." In no day or order, they are joined on the Pallet Stage by The Alarm, African Head Charge, New Model Army, Goldblade, Sugarhill Gang & Furious Five, Kassassin Street, Ferocious Dog, Flight Brigade, The Selecter, The Mocking Jays, and Jaya the Cat.

Also announced tonight for the Woodland Stage are headliners Cast on Friday, Foy Vance on Saturday, and on Sunday it will be Reverend And The Makers who specifically requested to make a Woodland Stage appearance. Jon from Reverend & the Makers said, "If festivals were judged on vibe alone then Bearded Theory is the best in the world and we cannot wait to close the 10th anniversary."

Joining them the Woodland are Tess Of The Circle, Smiley & The Underclass, The Roving Crows, Kissmet, The Defekters, Maia, Pronghorn, Wheatus, Gary J Armstrong, Billy in the Lowground, The Hot Sprockets, and Son Primo. Please note Rev Hammer is now also playing on the Woodland instead.

The True Deceivers join the first acts announced for the Thursday line-up of Dreadzone, 3 Daft Monkeys, Tarantism, Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs, Gail, and Freedom.

New additions planned for Bearded Theory 2017 include a Cinema Tent, an expanded line-up of music on the Thursday and a new late night ‘disco’ in the Maui Waui tent.

Bearded Theory’s unique Festival School will be returning. Enrolments to the Festival School will go live on September 10th at 9am. Please note that you will need your ticket reference number before enrolling your child. The Festival School can assist in taking your child out of education without being fined. Tickets are priced at £105 for the weekend. Tickets for those aged 12 to 15 years are priced at £55, tickets for those aged 6 to 11 years are priced at £25, and those children aged under 6 years old can attend for free (ticket is still required). campervan & Car passes are priced at £35 and £12.50 respectively. Prices do not include booking fees.

All tickets will include Thursday entry. There are no tickets available on the gate.

Payment Plan Options:

Payment Plan 1 – Payment Plan until December 30th 2016

Adult: - Pay £25 on day of purchase and then £20 will be taken out of your account at the end of January, February, March and the final balance plus £2 postage to be collected on April 28th.

Age 13-16:- Pay £25 on day of purchase and then £7.50 will be taken out of your account at the end of January, February, March and the final balance plus £2 postage to be collected on April 28th.

Payment Plan 2 – Payment Plan from January 1st (Adult & Teen)
Pay 50% of the ticket fee (plus booking fee) and then pay the remaining balance by March 30th 2017.
